Happy Vegetable Reusable Bags in Red by Seattle-based Wunderthunder are a fabulous idea. It seems Meagan and Sasha have thought of everything:
This is a set of four reusable vegetable bags including a bonus herb bag. Made from preshrunk recycled cotton muslin with an organic cotton drawstring. Drawn and screen-printed at our home with water-based ink on preshrunk and recycled cotton muslin. A great biodegradable alternative to plastic bags! Easy and fun to use! Entertain your local grocer!
Take to the farmer’s market to bag your apples, cabbage, limes, lettuce, snap peas, or radishes without that horrible plastic bag guilt. Perfect for the bulk aisle of the grocery store for lugging home a bunch of bulk cereal, rice, pasta, flour, or even gummy sharks and chocolate bits.
Use the little herb bag to purchase cheap bulk herbs or teas. Take it to your local herbalist store and bring home some medicinal herbs to clean out your liver!
They won’t effect the scale at the grocery store either!
The large bag weighs .75 oz, the medium .45 oz, and the small .25 oz. The largest bag will add .001 lb.
In your set of four you will receive:

Small 6” x 5.5”
Herb 3.5” x 5”
All sizes have a drawstring except for the little one!

I think this would be gorgeous framed in a kitchen. I love the earthiness of the wood and how the bowl is empty except for the whisk. Just think of the what you could mix up!

Hand-Woven Table Runner by Frederick, South Dakota-based Annikki Marttila, a.k.a. Finnish Weaver on Etsy. It’s on sale for $38.
I love table runners because they look nice during mealtime and non-mealtime alike. They can be complemented by placemats, but that’s optional. I love the colors in this runner; bright but neutral.
My aunt Peggy also lives in South Dakota, near the border with Wyoming, and is a talented weaver. She gave me a beautiful grey rug on one condition: that I would use it. She didn’t want me to keep it on a shelf to “preserve” it. Its tag reads: “By Peggy and Her Sheep.”

$12.50 for a set of 10. They’re reusable. But not edible- no matter how sweet they look- they’re paper. Besides, if you ate them, you wouldn’t be able to reuse them.

Aren’t these beer bottle glasses awesome? Greensboro, NC-based Bodhicitta (on Etsy) melts and fires glass bottles and recreates them into entirely smooth, reusable glasses for juice, milk, water, wine, soda… or beer, if you’re a thinking-inside-the-box type.
I’m not a beer person, but I love the colors and designs. And little makes me happier than recycling via sustainable re-use.
